MBSX4 / FRAME LAB
ANIMATION STUDIO
Your figures. Your frames. Make something move.
On phones, the canvas stays above touch-sized tools. Use EDIT, FRAMES, SOUND and EXPORT to switch workspaces. All project, layer, prop, audio and export features remain available. Enable Tap to multi-select for groups, or frame range selection to tap the first and last frames. Puppet mode is an optional checkbox, off by default. Limbs bend independently until stretched to their full reach, then pull the body. POSE edits joints as before when the checkbox is off. Use SELECT to box-select multiple figures and images. Shift-click adds or removes an object. Drag a selected object to move the group; Ctrl+C copies the group and Delete removes it. Use ROTATE and drag around the center cross to freely rotate every selected figure and prop together. Use POSE to drag joints on a single figure; the orange hip moves it. Add a frame to copy your pose, then change it. Drawing and camera settings belong to each frame. Use Save project for a backup; your latest project also saves on this device. The main audio track starts at frame 1. Add sound effects below it, drag clips to set their timing and drag their edges to trim. Clips can overlap; playback and video exports mix them together. Audio ends at the last animation frame. Use Weapons, Items and Vehicles to add props, then drag, resize, rotate or flip them. Use Layers to drag objects above or below characters, or move them forward/back. Backgrounds start at the active frame and continue until the next background change. Cheat Sheets are movable references that never export. Add your own images too. MP4 exports at 120p–360p; WebM exports at 540p. Both include audio; GIFs are silent. Keep this tab visible while exporting video. Share exported GIFs on the Art Board.
MBSX4 projects use .mbsanim.json or compressed .mbsanim.json.gz files. Pivot and StykAnimate project imports are not supported yet. Select multiple timeline frames by dragging across them, Shift-clicking a range, or Ctrl/Cmd-clicking individual frames. Use COPY FRAMES / PASTE FRAMES or Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V while the timeline is focused; paste inserts after the active frame and keeps originals. Space advances to the next frame while the editor is focused. Use Play for playback. Click a figure, image, drawing stroke or reference to select it; Delete removes it. Ctrl+Z restores deleted items. The cheat sheet is only visible in the editor, never in exports. Select figures and images, Ctrl+C copies the selection, then Ctrl+P or Ctrl+V pastes independent copies.
